About Assembleth Theatre
Assembleth Theatre are a professional theatre company, proudly based in Plymouth. Touring our unique and fast paced comedy, we bring our signature brand of irreverent nonsense to audiences across the nation.
Our work is supported by Arts Council England, and we have previously been associates at the Barbican Theatre Plymouth. Locations and venues we perform in vary from large scale cultural institutions such as Shakespeare’s Birthplace, Exeter Phoenix and Alnwick Playhouse to beautiful rural settings with Carn to Cove and Villages in Action as well as a host of other venues around the UK.
An integral aim of Assembleth Theatre is to normalise and celebrate disability within theatre. Whether acting, writing, or taking any part in the creative process, we’re proud to show that people with disabilities can make important and exciting contributions to the performing arts.
We look forward to welcoming you to one of our shows soon!
